Absolutely the finest tasting meats you can buy. Our meat department is markedly different from those at most other stores these days. One of the first things you will notice is that we have butchers on staff. These are knowledgeable professionals who can cut your meat to order, tell you what makes one cut unique from another, offer tips on how to get the best results from each cut, and give great ideas for cooking and preparation. You'll also notice that our meat is still hand wrapped. Many markets sell beef that has been shipped in airtight packaging full of gas preservative, making it difficult to tell how fresh the meat really is. At Chief, you can be certain that our meats don't just look fresh, they really truly are fresh!
